TEHRAN – An exhibition of precious stones cutting tools and equipments kicked off in the Tehran Permanent International Fairground on Saturday.
“Iran’s precious stones should be regarded as a source of national wealth in the 3rd millennium,” said Nader San’ani, managing director of a jewelry manufacturing company, who was speaking at the beginning of the four-day exhibition. Jewelry exports, if supported by the government, could earn the country almost 10 billion dollars annually, he added.
